Lotus Throne is an unfinished Mao Cha—sun-dried Pu’erh leaves that haven’t been steamed or fully processed. Sourced from old-arbor trees on Wuliang Mountain at 2,300 meters, these are some of the highest and most remote tea gardens in Yunnan, just south of the clouds. Light and floral with a hint of orchid, the astringency quickly softens into a syrupy sweetness that coats the mouth and throat.
